K,S,Action! is a prototype of realtime cooking in KS:A!  Serve food to all your customers before they lose patience.

Core cooking is similar to KS:Aloha - each dish is started at the fridge, then needs to be cooked by a chef at each of the corresponding stations in its recipe, in order.  Different from KS:Aloha, you play one chef at a time with real time timers.  You can switch between the chefs in your party to take advantages of their different passive and active abilities, as well as score combos by alternating which chef cooks a dish.

Controls (Controller recommended, mouse/keyboard is alright):

  • Stick/DPad/WASD to move
  • A/LClick to pick up a dish
  • X/RClick to work at a station
  • Y/F-key to trigger a special ability
  • RightTrigger+LeftTrigger/Mouse Wheel+1,2,3Keys to switch chefs

Chefs and abilities:

  • Pele - Passive: Pan Quality Up // Special Ability: Critical Eye, next step completed by a chef guarantees a critical hit
  • Drew - Passive: Sauce Quality Up // Special Ability: Top Off, increase held dish quality by 40%
  • Lono - Passive: Veggie Quality Up // Special Ability: Station Polish, nearby stations give extra quality next time they're used
